Message from the Principal

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

Kurigram Govt. College was established in 1961 and nationalized in 1980. The academic courses of the college ran for the students of  Intermediate and Degree pass course level in the begining years. In 1996 the Government has introduced Honours courses and subsequently Masters (previous) and Masters Final courses on 14 Subjects. There are about 18 thousand students studying in this institution. It is the light house of education for the students of  Kurigram and its surrounding areas.

It’s my great pleasure to be a part of the KGC family. The institution is presenting the nation, disciplined and worthy citizens because of the high standard discipline, teaching methods and teacher–student relationship of this institution. The success of the students of this institution in the public exams has been highly praised. The students also have a bright success in different co-curricular activities, Debate Competitions, Games, and Cultural Competitions etc. KGC is always determined to perform its responsibilities to build-up ethical, disciplined and modern technology-oriented nation.

Keeping pace with the vision of smart Bangladesh, We have initiated to digitalize various academic and administrative segments. We have ensured a secured stay of the students inside the campus through, bringing the entire campus under CCTV surveillance. We feel pride of having a complete dedicated website enabling the guardians to be apprised of the attendence & academic progress of the students time to time. I firmly believe that the success we have had today is  a trilateral effort of the dedicated teachers , the students and the guardians. We are promised to ensure quality education in Bangladesh. I firmly believe that a high standard institution is assembled with the combined effort of teachers, students, guardians and community people. We look forward to receiving the same sort of support from all corners in future. Any kind of advice from the guardians and well-wishers for the development of the institution is highly valued. Let’s prepare our children for facing the challenges of 21 century and contribute to the nation.

I wish the blessing of Almighty be always showered upon our teachers and students so as to enable them to continue working hard towards the betterment of the nation.
